A wonderful man who epitomises the best of Cumbrian and Carlisle United supporters. Without his constant support Through very difficult times it’s impossible to see how our great club could have survived to see the transformation Which is being led by Tom Piatak his wife Patti and the wider family. Without the Chairman s lifelong commitment we would not be living this dream A supporter since attending my first game against Hull City in February 1965 during the 3rd Division championship Season Thanks to Mr Jenkins we have survived the dark times and look forward to a great future Thank you Rest in peace My condolences to his wife children wider family and all at Carlisle United

Whenever I met Andrew at Brunton Park he was always very welcoming. I'll add a wee tribute in the season's first programme but it will be impossible to do justice to a full and busy life well lived. Thinking of you on Thursday Andrew RIP

What a man. I worked for Andrew nearly 30 years ago and I have fond memories of what a gentleman he was. Certainly one of life’s good ones. Much love to everyone who loved him.

Sleep easy, Mr Chairman. I always found Mr Jenkins to be a wonderful man, who took the time to speak Carlisle United to anybody that would be in his company. He was always as enthusiastic and driven for the good of our club, and without him we wouldn't have a club to support. It didn't matter if we were young or old, a new supporter or decades long supporter he always spoke with us, with as much respect as he'd give anyone. The game will never see another Andrew Jenkins, and our club will never be as blessed as it was with Mr Jenkins there in some capacity. I met him a few times including when the team coach drove past my house in Bushey and the squad ended up training in the park less than half a mile away. We had a good chat and he expressed his admiration for the London Branch and all it did to help the club. He always had time to chat with supporters. He was a true fan and it shone through.

Mr Jenkins was the most humble and warmest person, he always made time to talk with me when I travelled up for the games. He always had a smile on his face and was just Carlisle through and through. Carlisle as a club has lost the most loyal supporter they will ever have and I truly believe without him we would not have a club to support. It has been the utmost pleasure to have known Andrew in my time as a supporter and will miss his enthusiasm for the club whether we won, drew or lost. He will be the brightest star that shines over Brunton Park and I know he will always be there to watch over his beloved Blues! Sleep tight Mr Jenkins, I will always fondly remember you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Jenkins a few years ago when my granddaughters were match day mascots. He spent time chatting with the girls and made them feel really special. What a nice man he was. You will be sadly missed. Thank you Mr Chairman
